We had a fun family home evening tonight... which we haven't done in a while either (shock again, I know!) :) Earlier this year we started to study the Family Proclamation. Our lesson focused on this sentence "Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny." And we had a fun time!
We watched a great video by Elder Uchtdorf
We read a great scripture:

Alma 5:14
14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?
And then we took a simple outline form and wrote our names. Then using each letter in our name, we thought about how our Heavenly Father sees each of us and our divine nature.
If only I looked like that cutout... gotta love marty's face and kaika's ears! Then we roasted marshmallows... no idea how that connects to the lesson but they were sure yummy!
